United Art and Education has joined Rosewood Arts Centre in a community arts education partnership. Rosewood, in Kettering, Ohio, presents opportunities for the community to experience hands-on activities in visual and performing arts programs.

Art Classes and Workshops
Committed to arts in education for ages ranging from preschool to senior adults, Rosewood Arts Centre conducts more then 400 classes annually in dance, theatre, creative writing, music, visual arts and fine crafts. In recognizing the creativity of cultural diversity, the centre offers courses in art appreciation, languages, and the humanities. These are offered on a quarterly basis, at skill levels from beginners to professional artists.

Community Festivals
Art on the Commons is a juried display and sale of fine arts and fine crafts located in Lincoln Park Civic Commons in Kettering, Ohio. Awarded recognition from Sunshine Artist Magazine as one of the top U.S. festivals, the Dayton-based Business Weekly publication has also listed Art on the Commons as one of the top regional festivals, measured through attendance.

Annual Juried Exhibitions
United Art and Education is proud to sponsor the three annual open competitions: The Dayton Area Works on Paper (for artists within a 45-mile radius of Dayton, Ohio, working on or in paper) and The View, A Landscape Competition (for Ohio artists working in landscape themes or issues) and HWD, A Juried Sculpture Competition, which is open to all artists from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan who are working in any sculptural medium.
The gallery specializes in the exhibition of contemporary art by local, regional and national artists. It is dedicated to the encouragement and creation of new works and to the promotion of visual arts in the Dayton, Ohio area.
